Wow! Its been a while since you've heard from me, and I couldn't let the occasion of Scotts birthday pass without a shout out. We've been celebrating all month getting our free foods - Red Robin burger, Moes burrito, Starbucks frappucino, Kobe free meal, Firehouse Sub, Jersey Mikes Sub, BWW wings and Einsteins bagel sandwich. These were only the ones we redeemed but there are tons more out there.
This is the time of the year when we are zooming around. The vegetable plants we started indoors are ready to plant and I'm hoping the cold weather is behind us. Its nice this week in the seventies and I'm back to riding my bike to work after a bit of a break from the railroad construction which closed my road to work for January. We also just got back from surprising our friends Mary & Terri on a short cruise out of Tampa, their first one. Fun was had by all. I can't hardly believe it but I lost weight on the cruise from giving up all carbs (except beer) and getting my 10K steps in each day on the stairs and doing laps of the ship.
We've been enjoying concerts at Busch Gardens, and just saw Gary Puckett and the Union Gap at the state fair last week. Now the BG Food and Wine Festival starts in March with big acts every weekend, plus Baseball spring training is the month of March, and Scott will be racing on the dirt track of Eastbay Raceway park too.
So today we're going out to eat free birthday food, and then I'm excited to watch the new season of Survivor!
