We had another weekend of racing at Eastbay Raceway Park, this time watching the 360 winged Sprints, and the mini Sprints. It was packed and we happened to sit by some nice French Canadian strangers from Montreal. Of course, with my new years resolution to talk to strangers we soon were having a great time. They were staying at a campground in Dover where two of the race car drivers were also staying so they ended up at the track. They figured it would be a good warm up for the big day at Daytona on Sunday, their first time at that track too.
A fun night. That's my favorite resolution of the year, talking to strangers. It sure is not the roof project which is full of drama; disagreements, notices of violation, penalties and anxiety. I can't wait for it to be over.
