Gasparilla weekend is back in Tampa. Last night we went to Curtis Hixon Park for the 1st annual charity concert to see Atlanta Rhythm Section and the Commodores. When we arrived the music was rockin, but there were only about a 100 people there. It was unfortunate for the organizers but the show must go on.
The Gasparilla pirate invasion and parade of course went on for hundreds of thousands of people. We took the ST1300 downtown for the parade and met this fellow.
Then we saw classy Sassy, the cute dog with the rose colored glasses.
Then this nice Rough Rider dude came along and gave me a nice strand of pearls.
Then the party started, trouble showed up. The three muskateers.
One of the coolest floats, The #RAYS. We already have great tickets for the spring training game coming up in March.
